- 1 The power loss includes the losses of all current carrying paths of the component. 2 The power loss curve in dependency of the variable load current can normally not be expressed by a formula and shall be depicted by a curve including all relevant service conditions, for example ambient temperature, frequency, under which the curve has been obtained. 3 Power loss curves at different service conditions can be obtained by modifying their values. 4 Such curves ocurr for example in unbalanced states of an object.
