Note
The term non-conformity (terminal based non-conformity, independent non-conformity, and, zero based non-conformity) should be used for devices which have a non-linear input-output, relationship (e.g., logarithmic, square root, etc.). The non-conformity is determined and presented using the same procedures as for nonlinearity.
